All Legal Staff Gets a Fresh Look: Same Trust, New Website

After 25 years in business, we decided it was time for a refresh.
I started All Legal Staff in 2001 from a small office in Pinellas County. Since then, my team and I have placed more than 10,000 legal professionals across Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Brandon, Palm Harbor, Bradenton, and Sarasota. Attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, legal secretaries, file clerks, document specialists. We’ve worked with solo practitioners and 200-attorney firms. We’ve staffed during the 2008 downturn, the 2020 disruption, and the 2024 hiring crunch. The phone keeps ringing because the relationships hold.
Today, we’re launching a redesigned website and a refreshed brand at als-staff.com. Same family business. Same approach to candidates and clients. Cleaner front door. If you want the longer version, read more about our story.
What changed
The website. The old site was built for a different version of the internet. Static pages, slow load times, no easy way for a candidate to see open roles or submit a resume from a phone. The new site loads fast, works on mobile, lists current openings, and has a real intake flow. If you’re a paralegal in Brandon checking jobs during lunch, you can browse, apply, and hear back from us the same day.
The positioning. For years we described ourselves the way most staffing firms do, with generic language about “talent solutions” and “workforce strategy.” That was never really us. We’re a family-run agency in Tampa Bay that places legal professionals at firms we’ve worked with for decades. The new site says that plainly. If you want a vendor that talks about itself in slides, we’re not it. If you want a recruiter who knows the hiring partner by name and can tell you what the firm is really like to work at, that’s what we do.
The logo and brand. The visual refresh gives us a sharper, more professional look. The mark is cleaner. The typography is modern. The brand colors carry over so the firms who’ve known us for 20 years still recognize us at a glance.
The systems behind the site. Resume intake now goes straight into our pipeline. Job postings update from one place instead of three. Communication with candidates is faster because the back end actually talks to itself now. Most candidates won’t notice this directly. They’ll just notice we respond faster.
What stayed
The model. We’re still family-owned. I still run the firm. My team still reads every resume that comes in. We still call candidates back. We still know our clients well enough to tell a candidate honestly when a firm is a good fit and when it isn’t.
The fee structure for candidates. Placement is free. It’s always been free. A candidate working with All Legal Staff pays us nothing, ever. The hiring firm pays the fee when a placement sticks. That’s the standard model in legal staffing and we’re not changing it.
The relationships. I personally know hiring partners at more than 50 Tampa Bay law firms. Some of those relationships go back to the early 2000s. Those partners call me first when they need a paralegal, and they tell me things they wouldn’t put in a job description. That’s the value we built over 25 years and it doesn’t transfer to anyone else. The website is the front door. The relationships are the building.
The local focus. We staff Tampa Bay. We don’t pretend to be a national firm. When a candidate calls from Sarasota, we know which firms in Sarasota are hiring and which ones to avoid. That’s a different kind of knowledge than what a coast-to-coast staffing agency offers, and it’s the kind that actually places people.
Why a 24-year-old firm refreshed its website now
The honest answer has three parts.
First, candidates and hiring managers find us differently now. Ten years ago, a paralegal in Clearwater asked a friend for a recruiter recommendation. Today she searches “Tampa Bay legal staffing” on her phone before bed. If our site loads slowly, looks dated, or doesn’t answer her actual question, she’s gone in eight seconds. The old site lost us candidates we never knew we had a shot at. The new one doesn’t.
Second, AI search is changing how people find legal recruiters. When a hiring partner asks an AI assistant for paralegal staffing options in Tampa, the assistant pulls from sites that are well-structured, fast, and packed with specific local information. The old site wasn’t readable to those systems. The new one is built for them. That matters more every quarter.
Third, the questions candidates and hiring managers ask online have changed. A candidate in 2010 wanted to know if we placed paralegals. A candidate in 2026 wants to know which firms are hybrid, what a litigation paralegal earns in Pinellas County, whether a recruiter will share the firm name before the interview, and how long the process takes. The new site answers those questions directly because that’s what people are actually searching for.
None of that changes what we do. It changes how people find us doing it.
What’s coming next
Over the next several months, we’re publishing more of what I see in the market. Real numbers from real placements. What paralegal salaries actually look like in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Manatee, and Sarasota counties. Which practice areas are hiring and which are quiet. What hiring partners tell me they’re looking for that they don’t put in job postings. Resume and interview guidance specific to legal roles in Tampa Bay, not generic career advice scraped from somewhere else.
We’re also rebuilding our jobs board so it updates faster and surfaces roles the day we get them, not the week after. The old board ran on a manual update cycle that left listings stale by the time candidates saw them. The new one pulls from the same pipeline our recruiters use, so a role that comes in Monday morning is on the public site Monday afternoon. That sounds basic. It’s actually rare in legal staffing.
We’re publishing a salary benchmark for Tampa Bay legal roles, updated quarterly, based on what we actually see in offers across our placements. Generic national salary guides miss the local picture by enough that they’re useless for negotiation. Ours won’t.
And we’re spending more time on candidate-side resources. The legal job search has gotten harder in the last two years, even with demand up. Postings get hundreds of applicants in 48 hours. Interview loops are longer. Offers come faster, and rescissions happen too. Candidates need someone in their corner who’s seen the cycle before. That’s been our job for 25 years. We’re going to do more of it, more publicly.
If you’re a Tampa Bay law firm
The website is new. The team is the same. If you need a paralegal, an attorney, a legal assistant, or anyone else, reach out directly. I personally take the call or one of my senior recruiters does. We’ve probably already placed someone at your firm or one nearby. We move fast because that’s the only way to compete for legal talent right now.
If you’re a legal professional in Tampa Bay
Submitting your resume is free and stays free. Browse the open roles or send us your resume and we’ll tell you within a few business days what we have that fits. If we don’t have something now, we’ll keep your file active and reach out when something does come up. We don’t ghost candidates. That’s not how we built this.
The refresh is live. Everything that mattered before still matters. Take a look around and tell us what you think.
